As a graduate of Parsons School of Design, Mihca Cho has garnered over 14 years of design experience in the prêt-à-porter, couture eveningwear, and luxury bridal markets.

From 2003-2017, he was appointed to the position of Senior Designer at the venerated bridal company Amsale Bridal Incorporated where he designed for Amsale, Kenneth Pool, Christos, Nouvelle, and Amsale Bridesmaids for more than 6 years. He has also had the privilege of designing for Alexander Lee McQueen who had inspired Mihca to pursue his love of creative fashion.

In 2009, Mihca Cho founded his atelier in New York City to pursue his dream of creating couture garments and embracing the philosophy of fashion as an art form. Having worked with private clients and celebrities alike to create custom garments, Mihca challenged himself further to create artistic gowns for editorials.

With the release of his first conceptual capsule collection titled “The Black Iris”, Mihca furthered his endeavor by pursuing the creation of a full collection. In the summer of 2017, his first full couture collection “The Leucite’s Copse” was released.

By combining traditional haute couture technique with innovative artistry, Mihca Cho designs garments that are both at once nostalgic and fashion-forward.

He devotes himself to his craft as a true artisan with the guiding principles of quality, craftsmanship, and creativity.

As such, Mihca Cho utilizes only the finest materials from France, Italy, Spain, and Tokyo with all garments proudly made by hand in The United States of America.

In fact, every couture garment is designed, draped, patterned, cut, and sewn in-house by the designer himself.

With over 14 years of experience in multiple facets of fashion, Mihca Cho is able to design, construct, and tailor each garment to the exact specifications of any client.

As such, every patron enjoys a truly bespoke experience from conception to completion.

At Mihca Cho, we find beauty in the shared aspects of the human experience.

From the young girl in the country yearning for the city to the intellectual globe trotters conquering the world, women of all origins can share relatable and meaningful stories.

Innocent, adventurous, fierce, profound, or refined, the enigmatic women that inspire Mihca Cho are celebrated here for both their strengths as well as their flaws.

In this vein, Mihca Cho endeavors to explore these intricacies of the multifaceted feminine spirit through the tradition of fashion.
